FAQ: An Interview With Chris
What exactly is the Palm Beach Feng Shui System® and how did you come up with it?
Well, that’s a good question. To answer, it’s probably best to give you some background first.
In my “prior life”, I spent 15 years working with high net worth individuals. Specifically, I made them money by investing their assets in alternative investment strategies. It’s a very nichey market that requires an odd combination of strong analytical skills and the art of recognizing investment talent and I did really well.
Before I left the world of money management to start my own alternative investment research firm, I was introduced to the art of Feng Shui. It intrigued me because, like the world of hedge funds, Feng Shui is a combination of art and analysis. I began practicing Feng Shui when I started my research business and within two months I had all the business I could handle from clients both locally and nationally.
For fun, I began to create Feng Shui plans for friends. The results were so amazing that I decided to make it my full time focus. I spent over a year studying with different Feng Shui masters across the world and learning about the eight different schools of Feng Shui. Through my studies I discovered that, in the Western world, the other half of the Chinese art of Feng Shui, dowsing, has completely been eliminated. So I learned how to dowse, as well.
In case you're wondering, dowsing is used to locate things. Beekeepers use dowsing to find the right location to place beehives. This increases honey production by up to 5 times. Dowsers are hired by water bottling companies to locate pure spring water. Dowsing, in Feng Shui, is used to find areas of negative energy in and around homes and buildings. Once these areas have been located, the energy can be blocked from entering the building using a special type of metal rod.
As I learned the various styles of Feng Shui and dowsing, my friends let me implement my knowledge in their homes and offices. Through this method of trying out different combinations of Feng Shui and incorporating dowsing, I developed the Palm Beach Feng Shui System®. The results have been nothing short of amazing. Families find that their homes are more relaxing and peaceful. Carrie Berish said she and her family started spending more time together. Dr. Michael Barr saw his revenue increase by 33 percent in less than 30 days.
What are Feng Shui and dowsing?
Feng Shui is the 5,000 year old Chinese art of creating a balanced environment using the five elements found in nature: fire, water, earth, metal and wood. The Chinese spent thousands of years observing the cycles of nature. What they found was that when these elements are out of balance or placed incorrectly in the landscape or inside buildings, it causes misfortune or “bad vibes” as some people say today. When these elements are in balance and used correctly, they create auspicious environments and a welcoming feeling. If you’ve ever heard someone say, “It feels good in here,” it’s probably because the elements in the space were balanced.
The other half of Feng Shui, which unfortunately was dropped by all but a handful of Feng Shui masters and consultants here in the U.S., is dowsing. I spent most of my childhood in Oklahoma and dowsing was used there to find water so wells could be put up. Geologists use dowsing as an initial way to look for mineral deposits. Bee keepers use it to select locations to place their hives to increase honey production. Bottled water companies even hire dowsers to look for pure springs to tap as water sources.
With the Palm Beach Feng Shui System®, I use dowsing to find areas of stress that are caused by underground water (which is what practically all of South Florida is build on), electricity and even cell phone towers. Once we find these locations we are able to ground them so they no longer affect the occupants of the home or building.

We all know that Donald Trump isn’t one to tolerate people or things that don’t produce. In fact, his comment about Feng Shui was, “I use it because it works.”
Like an interior designer, I will review your home or business’ floor plan and the layout of your space. However, you have me as an environment expert. As a Feng Shui and dowsing consultant, I ONLY work with creating the right flow of energy in your environment. What this means to you is that I’m very focused on your floor plan and developing a program to specifically meet your personal and professional objectives. For people that are only concerned about the look of their home or office, an interior design firm is a better solution. Because my focus is narrow, what you get with me is a hands-on approach to helping you create an environment that meets your objectives. At the same time, I expect you to carry out the plan we create together to get the results you’re looking for. And believe me, you will see results!
For what of home or building will Palm Beach Feng Shui NOT work?
This Feng Shui System will work for any type of home or building. That being said, my focus is on environmentally-minded homeowners and real estate professionals. I’m very selective in who I work with and I cherry-pick my clients, choosing to (gently) turn away people who aren’t interested or willing to implement the Palm Beach Feng Shui plan and, therefore, won’t get the results they are expecting. (It wouldn’t be fair to them.)
If you fall into this category, but think you might change your mind in the future that’s absolutely fine. We’ve all been in situations where it just wasn’t time to make a change. The other types of people I won’t work with (without exception) are the skeptics, the whiners, and those who consistently make excuses for not implementing their Feng Shui plan or challenge every aspect of the plan. If you are one of those people, I respectfully encourage you to call someone else and I hope you understand why. You will probably not enjoy working with me and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time or your money. Is that reasonable?

Yes. You have three different options to choose from, depending upon how involved you want your program to be, how much time you want to spend with me, what your needs are or what your budget level is.

Yes, in fact, our clients find this to be easiest for them.
